Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great night bringing in the bells.
Today is the first day of a new year and it is also a Tuesday! so that means Top Ten Tuesday. To start off this year our topic is Top Ten books I Resolve To Read In 2013. I have decided that these have to be books that I already own and are sitting in my to-read pile. Some of them have been their for years I think 2013 might just be their year.
- Tomorrow When The War Began by John Marsden
- Wither by Lauren Destenfano
- Heist Society by Ally Carter
- Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
- Beautiful Redemption by Kami Garci and Margaret Stohl
- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
- Journey to the edge of the World by Billy Connolly
- The Green Mile by Stephen King
- Jane Austen I read my first Jane Austen book in 2012 and I hope that next year I might be able to get through at least one more.
- Harry Potter by JK Rowling I’m not totally sure I will fit this in but I really want to re-read all the books.
What Books Are You Determined To Read In 2013?
You’ve got good books on this list. I love Jane Austen! Heist Society has been on my list forever, too. Happy Reading!
Hopefully we may both get around to reading it this year and can compare notes π
That’s a really interesting list. I should have put Wither on mine. The Book Thief is incredible. Hope you get to and enjoy all these reads!
I can’t wait to read it, I’ll let you know what I thought π Thanks for stopping by π
Wither is such a great book! And I have Beautiful Creatures on my list! Great list π
Here’s my Top Ten!
I need to read it before the next book comes out! lol Hope you enjoy Beautiful Creatures, I fond the first one the best one in the series
I totally need to get to Fahrenheit 451 and the Book Thief this year. Great List. Now following you via email, btw. My TTTs are at Musings on Fantasia and LKHill. Happy New Year! π
That great π I hope you enjoy my posts and hopefully I can review Fahrenheit 451 and Book Thief soon and we can compare notes π Thanks for stopping by π
I don’t know what Austen book you read, but Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility are all pretty easy to get through and I loved all three of them.
The Book Thief is really really good. And yes HP is incredible and so re-readable. Fahrenheit 451 I read a number of years ago, but I remember liking it. Wither ad the Beautiful Creatures series are on my TBR list as well. Great picks! Happy New Years and happy reading!
Here are the books I resolve to read
~Danica Page
Taking it One Page at a Time
Pride and Prejudice was the one I read and I really enjoyed it π Think I’ll try Sense and Sensibility next π I’m looking forward to reading all the other too and hopefully making some time for Harry Potter. Thanks for stopping by π
Gosh, I love HP. I wouldn’t mind rereading them this year either.
I also listed a book by Jane Austen. I’m not sure which one (just not P&P because I’ve already read that one).
Good luck on your book resolutions!
Happy New Year π
P&P is the one I read too π not sure what my next will be, Thanks for stopping by π
I’m really hoping to get around to Wither this year too. I also just bought Beautiful Creatures, but I haven’t got around to reading it yet.
I really enjoyed the Green Mile, though it is sad at times. I find myself re-reading Harry Potter whenever I don’t really have time for anything else – it’s so easy to put down and pick back up when people interrupt (like on planes!). Good luck!
I hope you enjoy Wither and Beautiful Creatures π I think the more I talk about the more I want to re-read Harry Potter π thanks for stopping by Happy New Year π
Great titles! That reminds me, I need to read Heist Society this year! Thanks!
Hope you find time to fit it in this year and enjoy it:) thanks for stopping by π
